I've never had to hire an appraisal to get my home appraised, so I can't compare her to anyone. However, I can tell you that Sonja is very prompt and professional.

I had a list of multiple appraisers to chose from, I called each person and when talking to Sonja, I felt the connection and vibe with her the most. She was different than the others. And even though she was not the cheapest from the list, she was certainly the one I felt most comfortable with.

I called her a few days to schedule the appointment. From the time she went to my home and within 24 hours of receiving a full blown report was very surprising. I thought it would take about week or so.

I searched for an appraiser on yelp and after reading the reviews of Hillside Appraisal and seeing how great the reviews were for Sonja, I decided to reach out and see if she could appraise my property. I was comfortable the minute I contacted Sonja. She was prompt and returned my call quickly and she very courteous and thoughtful when I spoke to her. I highly recommend Sonja from Hillside Appraisal. Not only is she very experienced, professional and personable, but also extremely patient. The appraisal process is very new to me so I had a lot of questions. I texted her lots of questions both before and after my appraisal and she answered each one immediately and thoroughly. She also was very accessible in scheduling the appraisal and got the report back to me in one day! She definitely went above and beyond my expectations.

I used Hillside Appraisal for a pre-sale valuation of my rental property. I live out of state and wanted to make sure I was getting a fair market price for the property. Sonja was very good at getting this appraisal done. She set up the appointment with the tenant. She emailed me a report a few days after that.
